Pupil Premium

As you may be aware the Government issues money to schools to help children from lower income families, service children, looked after children and children adopted from care.

This funding is called ‘Pupil Premium’.  The information used to be collected through the Free School Meals register. Please see the Pupil Premium report to see how this funding was spent.

As all infant children now receive free school meals there is no incentive to sign up to pupil premium.

For every child registered Trewirgie Infants’ gets £1300 - please help us by completing a pupil premium application form if you think you could be eligible.

 If you are in receipt of any of the following benefits please register.

  •     Child Tax Credit (provided you’re not also entitled to Working Tax Credit and have an annual gross income of no more than £16,190)
  •     Income Support
  •     Income-based Jobseekers Allowance
  •     Income-related Employment and Support Allowance
  •     Support under Part IV of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999
  •     Guaranteed Element of State Pension Credit
  •     Working Tax Credit Run-On (paid for 4 weeks after you stop qualifying for Working Tax Credit)
  •     Universal Credit
